Work Management
Plan, execute, evidence and close maintenance work — work orders, their tasks, assignments and labour time; the materials and tools the work needs; safety documents and isolations; and the completion trail: removed components, evidence, tests, return to service, verification and closeout. Templates turn routine maintenance into consistent work orders.
Its central question:
For each piece of work on an asset, what has to be done, who is doing it, what does it need (parts, tools, isolations) — is anything blocking it — and is there evidence that it was done properly before the asset went back into service?
It is a member of the R9 Work & Supply network: it owns work orders and material requirements, tells the network when material is needed, and hears back from Inventory whether stock was reserved or is unavailable — without anyone re-keying data between the two applications.
The work spine
Maintenance Template → Work Order → Work Task / Assignment / Time Entry → Material & Tool Requirements → Safety Documents / Isolation → Removed Component → Evidence → Test Result → Return to Service → Verification → Closeout, with a Work Status History trail and Work Dependencies (material, access, isolation, other work) that can hold the order.
